Nestled in a 400-year-old stone vaulted cellar beneath Valletta’s Strait Street, Trabuxu Wine Bar is the first-ever wine bar in Valletta and has been serving customers for over 20 years. It is a culinary landmark for locals and visitors, offering the perfect balance between cosy and intimate and outgoing and boisterous. Trabuxu wine bar is a popular post-theatre spot and guarantees lively conversation and vibrant energy no matter your tastes. All our Fermier cheeses are hand selected from our reputable suppliers.
You may purchase each cheese individually or try our all-inclusive cheese board with 50 grams of each. Our selection of cheeses may vary due to demand and availability.
We also have a delicate selection of cured meats, salumi, and in-house chicken liver parfait and terrine to compliment your cheese board of choice.
All orders are accompanied by fresh Maltese bread, water crackers and a selection of chutneys and jams.
Bookings are recommended, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, to avoid disappointment. The wine bar is also available for private functions.
To provide our guests with the most relaxing experience possible, we ask that you not bring children under the age of 12.
